"Brethren of the Coast" was started by Rick and Deanna Saterstad of Marine City Michigan.

Rick and Deanna are Representatives for Dive Rite for the Midwest region and dive several times per week at various locations. Dive Rite has arranged many Tech Tours for the summer of 2007. In addition, Rick and Deanna as well as Dive Rite reps from all other regions arrange mini tech tours at locations internationally. If you are a dive shop and would like to arrange for a demonstration or dive with a Dive Rite rep, feel free to inquire. You do notnecessarily have to be a current Dive Rite dealer.

In addition, Rick and Deanna still maintain a small web design and hosting company which can be of great benefit to providers and members as well. They have owned POC Web Services (www.pocweb.com) since 1998.
In September 2006 the decision was made to merge POC's hosting business with a larger company, IQNection, of Pennsylvania so more time could be dedicated to the Scuba industry via Dive Rite representation and Brethren of the Coast. While POC is still an established web design/hosting company, POC is more selective as to the type of projects it will accept.
